Meet Amy Marshall-Carney.
Amy Marshall-Carney (she/her/hers) is a consultant with Tuck Consulting Group. Saying Amy is a force to be reckoned with is an understatement — just ask her husband who is convinced she’s from another planet after 25 years of witnessing her unstoppable work ethic (she’s actually an eighth generation Vermonter).
In the work world, Amy has taken on various titles including Executive, Senior Leader Coach, Strategic Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Business Advisor, and more. But at home on the farm she’s run for 15 years, her title is: “Chief of Everything”.
In the face of the pandemic, Amy focused on expanding her farm and homeschooling her then 12-year-old. But she craved adult connection and the challenge the professional world brought her. So she joined forces with Tuck, taking on pro bono work. This included working with organizations such as the Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) and the NNE to ensure PPE was developed and delivered.
Amy prides herself on the journey of disruption and opportunity she is infamous for among her clients (who constantly sing her praises).
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Amy has an extensive list of accolades. Some highlights include: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Project Management Institute), Certified as an Emotional Intelligence (EQi) Coach, and Prosci Business Performance Change Management Certification. And trust us when we say, these barely scratch the surface for her.
Outside of work, Amy is a mother, wife, daughter, friend, traveler, and she is also a caretaker for a disabled adult. She’s the Chair of the Conservation Commission in her town and sits on the board of a nonprofit.
