Meet Amy Petersen.

Amy Petersen (she/her/hers) is a Project Manager for Tuck and a Director of Impact Projects Consulting. She now resides in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, but has lived in small town Iowa; Beiruit, Lebanon; Washington, DC; Damascus, Syria; Stockholm, Sweden; and Kampala, Uganda. Yeah, we know. You’ll never run out of small talk topics when it comes to Amy, she’s as interesting as she is intelligent. 

Among many other reasons, Amy is a standout because of her mission-driven approach to problem solving. She specializes in breaking down complex challenges, clarifying priorities, and creating strategies to achieve goals at the organization, program, and project level. 

Amy has quite literally delivered projects that transform lives. To name a few, ask her about building a sustainable primary school in Uganda, or facilitating the delivery of +6million pieces of personal protective equipment in the 1st year of the COVID pandemic, or even driving process and system improvements for a healthcare technology company supporting a successful sale.

In her spare time, Amy spends time with the littles in her life — “they keep me focused on the important things.” She’s also a volunteer, advocate, hiker, reader — and her happy place is on the dance floor, dancing to a salsa, bachata, or cumbia. 

Amy is a lifelong learner who embraces curiosity through travel and new experiences, constantly challenging her own assumptions while respecting others’ perspectives. Passionate about understanding the world, she finds joy in discovering what excites and inspires people.
