My experience with Berlynsea and the ClickUp build-out was fantastic. Berlynsea managed to capture everything I was looking for and more. The system functions exactly how I need it to and the entire team is excited about the grants management system we now have. My favorite feature is definitely the automated subtasks that trigger as everyone completes their piece of the puzzle. I love how the complexity of the system allows me to capture everything I need and yet provides an incredibly simple end-user experience.
Partnership Project Overview
The Partnership Project is a fiscal sponsor for nonprofits with an environmental protection and/or sustainability mission. As a fiscal sponsor, the Partnership Project takes on the responsibities of grant application, fund disbursement, and grant oversight for client organizations. This gives their clients more time and budget for actually furthering their missions instead of scrambling for additional funding.

The Challenge
Grant management is far more than writing compelling proposals – awardees must comply with reporting and oversight requirements. When awardees have multiple funding sources, they usually have multiple reporting regimes. The Partnership Project exists so that clients (‘Programs’ in Partnership Project terminology) can devote more resources to their mission and fewer resources to grant management.
The Partnership Project needed a single tool to streamline and automate a series of complex and interconnected workstreams that support this mission. When Tuck got involved, they were managing $22M worth of grants though a complicated and highly manual process that relied upon multiple desktop productivity applications. Now, all of those grants are managed through automated ClickUp processes.
